You guys were great! There's just something about "A Band Called SPIKE" I really dig it. No bullshit, nothing complicated, no pretentious attitude, just a real sincerity and in your face tunes. Maybe off the wall for some, but it all makes perfect sense to me! These guys are so tight together. The set came off without a hitch or a jigger.
Butt Smoking Hags was great! It gave me some good visuals conjured from my very own experience. I heard some quips here and there about Butt Smoking Hags but to listen to it live was freakin' great. Danny Pearl, Chicken Wire Fences. It's the kind of music that makes you think. My 2c: You won't get rich playing at the Barn, But if you were to get on the right kind of bill there, you'd at least get some $ati$faction.
